Yes I found a brand of noodles that suggested that and have started doing it with them all. It really does make the flavour much stronger. Almost too strong sometimes. 

I never buy the Maggi noodles after a story a couple of years ago about them having to destroy £32 MILLION worth of noodles after they were found to contain unsafe levels of lead. Just think how many packets of noodles that must be, it's insane.

I know they caught the danger and are now probably extra vigilant. But it has still put me off.
